stories like that really piss me off. I can't stand seeing, hearing or having people even joke about hitting a women.. It totally sets me off. Literally.

A couple of years ago, I was almost arrested for beating someone unconscious. Not a girl, a guy. I was working at the time as a bouncer in a club in chicago. I used to be what is called a roamer. I walked around the club during the evening kinda just checking on things. One night I was walking into a dimmly lighted area of the club and heard some yelling. I walked into the vicinity and all i saw was a guy holding onto a girl's blonde hair, pulling her head down and literally uppercutting this girl in the face. Needless to say I completely lost it. I will not tell you what was done by not only me but a couple other bouncers, but just suffice it to say that by the time he left he wasn't conscious. The ironic thing is, the whole time this was happening, do you know who was trying to stop us. No it wasn't my fellow bouncers, management, or even the cops we had working there, it was the girl that was being beat up. bloody and all, SHE was trying to stop us from protecting her from her own boyfriend....

After the fact, I felt really really sorry for her, because you know this type of behaviour would end up continuing for her as long as she made the decision to stay with something like that. And there was not always going to be a bouncer there to protect her from it..

Kittie, i am really sorry that you had to go thru that.. And it sucks that you still have to endure that....

evilkittie, i'm glad you got out of it alive. there are so many women who are abused by their boyfriends or husbands that a lot end up in death. this is really sad. like you said, some women have no choice. if they leave, there's a chance they'll get killed. and it is incredible what your ex's punishment was and now he's free? that is outrageous. even if he is no longer a part of your life, there's another female out there who will probably face a similar experience with him.

Yes... I must agree... the more you dont care the more the want you... there is also a very string correlation between hotness too.... The hotter they get the more attracted they are to bad guys..... hum.... must be a metal thing... I think it has to do with being used to being the centre of attraction... once they dont give that and treat them like shit they crave for the attention and will practically do anything to get it from you...
even if it means having to put up with an ass hole..... I have realized this along time ago and guilty enough, I have used it to my advantage.... The sad thing is when you really like someone, you wanna be nice and do nice things... but that just "turns them off" I guess..... there is also a strong coloration between the bad boy fever and age... the older they get the less attracted they are to bad boys.... I guess they've had their fare share of bad experience and have finally realized that life is not like the movies.... bad guys aren't worth it....
I guess, at the end decent guys win.... but the bad boys alway gets first dibs.....

too expensive, i live with my boyfriend, and I have a life here... A good job, friends, a life. I almost want him to hit me again, i'm about to buy a gun when i turn 21....self defense.
I understand your pain and hate but I do not recommend killing someone even if he is a f'ed up person. You will carry that for the rest of your life and that will really make it worse. Try to avoid as much as possible and if you don't have any choice do what you gotta do but think before your actions. Fair well and hope u the best.

P.S. Pay some dudes to go after his ass if the cops do not want to go after him and protect you.

oh hell, after he did that, my brother went to jail for pistol whipping him, and putting him in the hospital for a few days. My brother, the career criminal, came so unglued at what I looked like after the attack (i'll find ya'll a picture, you'll be in disbelief) he purchased a nice size glock from a friend and made it a point to inscribe josh's name on the gun and beat him to a bloody pulp until the cops came and arrested him. From my understanding, josh lost so much blood, you can still see where the blood stained the road in big huge splotches.

My brother wasn't playing around- and he'd do it again in a heartbeat ( if he wasn't in jail for manufacturing Crystal Meth)

Your story is horrible, but you survived, made a good life, and have helped others. That's fantastic.

I'd absolutely get the gun...and take the training for the concealed carry permit (if FL has it).

Good luck.
