I did read the article which is why I said the comment about the kinked et tube is ludicrous. There is no way an anesthesiologist would miss a kinked et tube, that and it sounds from the article that it happened during induction.
For a young healty man to die in the manner described, like I said it was most likely allergic reaction. I know about these things so your argueing with me unless you are an airway expert or an anesthesiologist is useless.
Yes 1/700000 or 1/1000000 are on the similar order of very rare.

I had mine pulled at 21, all 4. I got them pulled in Marine boot camp. I didnt feel a thing, they numbed me up pretty good, just heard alot of craking. They gave me some tylenol and rest for 24 hours, then back to training. It wasnt that bad. But others werent so lucky
