the Working out thread
I understand that. That is why I did not get as big as I did in high school. I want to concentrate on leaning up and retaining enough mass. I feel that there are some things like dress shirts I look bulky and kinda fat. I'd rather have a body like the ones I mentioned in my other post.
I guess I'll put in my contribution to this thread.
I will venture out to say that THE best cardio workout you'll ever do is...SWIMMING. Yes, it is! And I don't mean putting on your beach trunks and doing dog paddles in the backyard pool. I'm talking about goggles, swim cap, 25 meter pools with lane lines, and doing serious laps kind of swimming.
It puts no impact on any joints of the body (unlike running) because you basically just glide on the surface of the water. It FORCES you to take deep breaths and improve your lung capacity. I need to add though, that results will only happen given the administration of proper technique and discipline to be diligent.
I use to play water polo and competitive swimming in the past so I pretty much have the technique down. Though I don't do the same workouts as I did back then (we used to do close to 200 laps a day!), I try to do at least 25 to 40 laps per session. I've been recently been getting back into it. Slow but steady.
Of all the statements made in this thread about attracting girls by working out, this is the most credible of all. Not only because it came from a female point of view, but because it is TRUE. For the most part, girls don't like the big, bulky, Arnold type of body unless she herself is into body building. They like men to be cut, not huge.
Oh and btw, I must say this: If you workout for the main purpose of attracting women, then you are a fool. More than likely, you will attract only the superficial-minded women that are drawn to you specifically for that reason. Not much different from a gold-digger, IMO.

Personally, I work out about 4 days of weighlifting, and cardio everyday in a week. I do use asprin, and ephedrine, and take amino acid supplements, and I also have used Andro in the past. The Andro worked, but it did cause acne. I will swear by the ephedrine though. If your body can handle it, and it is regulated, it works on energy tremendously. A little Carbs in the morning, a little fat at night, alot of protien all day. I integrate the Atkin;s diet, along with the low fat diet, at the same time.
Oh and one more thing: being in shape is NOT the only way to get girls!!! this powerhouse-freak-of-nature keeps saying that if u want girls ure car wont cut it....
neither a muscular body OR a car will 100% attract quality women.....be yourselves....be intelligent...and be as selective as u want
if u want to work out, do it for yourself...same with getting a hot car
and please, dont listen to this fool. he just wants to seem like a know it all......meanwhile hes probably 35 unmarried, 5'3 and 450lbs of pure, pasteurized fat
