I haven't heard any mention of this so far: It strikes me as very unlikely/impossible that the impact of even a large plane with one of the WTC towers would cause the whole thing to collapse. Btw, as an engineer, we studied WTC structure in school. It was designed to withstand the impact of a 747 (reportedly). Now, we all know this is practically impossible, but ...
Another thing that bothers me is the fact that the buildings fell straight down. That's awfully difficult to do from above.

Sure, they are(were) very large buildings but a commercial airliner ramming it with all its weight and momentum will cause a very considerable damage.
