do it yourself its not hard to replace the studs at all. Take wheel off, move the caliper, and remove rotor. Tap the old studs out and then slide the new ones in its place. Use an open ended lug nut to pull them into place, tapered side facing out.

I did it on my g35 will take maybe an hour or two depending on how fast you can remove and assemble everything.
that was my old method of doing this... but people have told me it can really mess up the wheel bearing and other compontents of the suspension to wale on the lugs with a 4lb sledge to knock em' out of the hub.

True, but that's plus the labor in replacing longer studs, how much more would that run for??
why would you need to replace your studs?...

You can get the type with the pressed in studs if you do 15mm or is that going to be too thick for your goals?

What would be the proper procedure in replacing the studs "safely"?
thanks

you're talking about 15mm and 20mm which you can buy with built in studs
