A few updated pics with center caps. I love the flat faces, IMO the concave ones really only work with widebody cars.

Easiest solution? Some POR15 on the hub centers (don't get any on the "outer" hub ring surface).

It won't come off even if you get brake cleaner on the hubs if you ever have to do brakes. Its permanent asf. And hubs don't see enough UV exposure to make that a big concern (standard issue POR isnt UV stable).

More involved solution?

I couldn't seem to find Volk flat caps for my ZE's.

So I used a bore gauge to measure the bore on my wheels. I ordered caps for that bore size on eBay...from China. For $20. Shipped. They arrived in like...a week.

Lucky for me, they came in bronze. They come in a lot of other finishes too.

I used a rubber O-ring to make them fit nice and snug, and without rattle.

The bronze is really effing close to the wheel finish. Like maybe...a half shade off. But when I'm installing a part, I make more observational notes than the FBI. In the real world, in real lighting, its virtually identical.

I was gonna 3D print them, but finding bronze paint or wrap was impossible.

I tried wrapping in matte black, but it ended up looking kinda dumb (in my eyes).

If you have a more simple color of wheel, you can easily wrap the caps.

You mind sharing the link to the Ebay seller? I tried looking myself and saw a bunch but couldn't find the clean flat center caps that you have.

Here ya go

most Volks were designed for an O ring type cap. So the "bridge" on whe wheel's hub center is pretty thin - not much for a snap-in cap to hold onto.

So u may need to buy O rings like I did.

Found a pretty mint set of RE30's out in Nebraska over the winter, OEM spec, so light!

Congrats. Great wheel. I had a set back in 2006, loved them.

Continuing the RE30 trend. Sourced these from Japan over winter and finally got tires mounted. The Hyper Bronze color is hard to capture in photos.
