I like contrast and think white is too simple!!!!! Canards and lip are functional, fog lights are functional, and wheels studs kinda hard to see with the lug nuts in place. If it's so much of a eye soar then obviously you noticed every detail.... Oh and that tow hook has saved me from countless/careless parallel parkers. Personally I think my car is subtle/functional yet clean.

Relax, he was just giving you his 2 cents. No need to aggressively defend yourself whilst throwing insults. If you like your car the way it is then more power to you. With that said I would hardly call your S "subtle." Personally I'd lose the stickers and tow hook and call it good. But as I said, just my 2 cents. Don't rip my head off.

 

Just my 2 cents The motul sticker like I said was a quick fix, I'll be replacing it with a Berk sticker(once I get my HFC). My front bumper is shaved SO I'M NOT GONNA GET RID OF MY TOW HOOK, IT SAVED ME FROM A CLOSE CALL, damm parallel parkers!!!!!
Subtle in a way That I don't have all these mis-match aero/body kits thrown together just because they're uber jdm like others do. Again not my taste but people like being different. Only aftermarket parts I have (exterior wise) ASM over fenders, vis vented hood, mirrors and canards. lip, wing, and top are optional OEM parts. So I tried to keep it subtle in that sense. I wouldn't mind getting some auth ASM fenders but

I didn't mean any disrespect. So I took another look at the pic.
Those seem to be extended wheel studs, I said studs because if they were regular ones they wouldn't stick out so far and garner attention. I listed the things I did because singularly they don't do much, but together it makes the car busy.
Because no one said anything before doesn't make what I'm saying invalid. There are a lot of ugly people walking around, because no one's told them doesn't mean they aren't.
You like contrast, there are many ways to do it, but throwing random items on a car doesn't always make it nicer, or mean that you've achieved the desired look.
And to think I didn't even say anything about the "ricey" blue head light bulbs.

 

Haha I didn't even get the "Nascar" thing. That's a good one.
If you're trying to clown my numbers, you can always check out my functional vs. hardparked status. I'm on the track getting after it, 2 wheels or 4.

 

^^i personally prefer fewer stickers too, but to each his own. We all express ourselves differently with our cars.

Ricey light bulb reflection of the sky IMO my car flows maybe the "stickers" might be "out" there but I'm sure the same could be said about the gold 18"?? ce28 with the polish lip, I've seen a lot of ricers with the combo but does that make you a ricer?? Probably not move on with others to critique

 

Sorry buddy I don't hard park my car. Do I like a clean functional car yes..... Is my cr lip functional? yes Are my canards functional? yes. Is my tow hook functional? well it has saved my from parallel parkers. Fog lights? yes, they turn on my wheels and "stance"? yes. My welded 4 pt roll bar? yes. Vented hood? Probably yes although I must admit I like the way it looks. APR Mirrors? besides aesthetics I get better visibility. The only non functional part I'm gonna add to my car are some shine cf side diffusers just for pure aesthetics. Some might argue otherwise. And I've tracked my car before once at sow and a few times at irwindale and I do plan on tracking my car again in the near future when $$ permits And please don't reply with any comments containing "Hellafunctional" or "because race care" because that's that's just as ricey as "proper" 'stance" or ""hardparked" I've never been a fan of excessive stickers but to some I might have a lot. at least I don't have a shocker, "jdm" badge, "illest" "fresh", ect on my car just a few stickers supporting a local forum, extremespeedevents and a local website. The Motul sticker might be a little too much though Just a idea I was playing with to mask my curb mark...
