Default Driver side window

When I drop my top, the driver side window is not going down. I have to manually drop it with the driver side controls. Anyone had this problem?

That just started happening to me in the past 2 weeks. I have already hit my face on the window by accident, thinking it went down with the top like it should.

Yes, I had that happen shortly after getting my car back in 2002. It seemed to go away, then come back a few weeks later, then go away for a long time. It hasn't happened this calendar year that I can remember.

You can find a lot of info on this site about it, but no true confirmed fix last time I checked (admittedly it has been a while, since mine isn't doing it lately). Give the search a try. They switched the search engine back and, IMHO, it is easier to find what you are looking for now.

Mine started doing this about 2 months ago. According to Woodwork, the Honda engineer who frequents this site, the problem has been finally fixed in a new TSB. See Woodwork's post on the subject:

I'll be calling my dealer about the new part within a few weeks before my pre-storage oil change.

There is a way to reset the pulser that controls the auto down. I reset it about 6 months ago and have had no problems. I will have to look for the thread that stated how to do this. I do not have time at the office to use search. If you stop raising or lowering the top before the cycle is complete, it can mess up the pulser. I will look for the reset instructions when I get home.

I tried that - it didn't work for me, though I did hear the 'click' on reset each of the several times I did it. Apparently, it only works in some circumstances.

My driver's side window auto-down is also caput. The reset involves lowering the window and holding the button down till you hear a click (maybe 15 seconds after the window has gone down). Then you raise the window and also hold the button till you hear the click. Have the ignition on during this time with radio off so you can hear. Then turn off ignition and back on again.
With me, this works for one or two cycles, then it quits again. It's the window regulator that needs replacing.
