Since S2000 owners in Ohio are within driving distance to Indianapolis, I thought I'd post this information in the Ohio S2000 area. The USGP this year now has available a special ticket package for S2000 owners that includes, among other things, free parking, including the opportunity to park your S2000 with other S2000 owners in the exclusive Car Club Corral insude the track. This parking privilege is also available to existing ticket purchasers as well.

Any Ohio S2000 owners coming to the USGP? Anyone bringing their S2000 and parking in the car corral?

Another reason to drive your S2000 to the F1 US Grand Prix in Indy is that if you stay over in Indy the day after the race, and renew your tickets for next year that day, you can drive your S2000 on the F1 circuit that evening!

Also, there will be organized car cruises for all of the car clubs that are participating the Car Corral parking packages over the race weekend, and so, if there are any Ohio S2000s coming please let me know so I can be sure to include you in any cruises that are organized.

This sounds like a great deal but I will only be able to attend Saturday do to prior commitments.

Still this is a superb opportunity for anyone willing to make it a weekend;however if BAR is excluded from racing the rest of the season do to the San Marino incident;I won't be attending at all

The BAR Honda ban is only for the next two races. Still I think that's crazy.

Is anyone doing the car corral thing? Seems like the traffic jam trying to get out of the track, after the race could be brutal. We already have our tickets, but if a bunch of s2000 owners were doing the car corral, I was thinking of calling and getting the parking pass.

On a BAR Honda note, Fuel as ballast kinda seems shady, but I'm glad I'll get to see Jensen Button rip up the Indy circuit.

Today's mail included my F1 USGP Car Club Corral pass!

Also, itacrx96 I doubt we will have much of a problem getting on our way after the race. Getting anywhere after a race at the IMS is matter of who the IMS staff and the local police want to let get places. I imagine the folks parked inside the track (in addition to Club Car Corral parkers) will be extreme VIPs and thus us inside parkers will be given the utmost deference, respect, and attention by the police and the IMS staff to get us on our way.
