Default front plates?

Just got my hard plates today....I really don't want to put my front plate on, but I don't want to get a massive ticket either. Do you guys have your plates on/off, has it been an issue?

I'm back to no front plate again....for now hope those veteran plates come in handy the front is under the seat waiting to use the excuse that i'm in the midst of fabricating of front holder since the GP sports front doesn't provide one

well, let's hope at least for now I can get away with the new owner excuse...."I'm sorry officer, I completely forgot." that'll get me at least until I put on my vanity plates. Then I'll have to come up with a new excuse.

9 months with no tags on the front, and one ticket when I first bought it in November. Damn Dublin cop just had nothing better to do. I keep the front plate between the seats, it goes up on the dash if I happen to get stopped, haven't had any problems yet.

Don't put the plate on the dash! That is also improper display and you will getr pulled over for that.

Well I'll remember that, I've been stopped once since the first ticket. He asked why I had it on the dash, I told him I was still working on getting a bracket for the front. He told me "Alright, well just keep it in the dash until you get it solved", and he let go with a warning for speeding 5mph over. I plan on using the same excuse if I happen to get pulled over again, and if it doesn't work...oh well.
