Does anybody know of any local shops that will re-drip my rims - in chrome? I do not want to ship them, they're outrageously heavy and would pay out the ass for shipping. Coming up with the 600 to get them re-dipped is hard enough eh?

$600 to chrome them? I think there are people on the board selling wheels already chromed for that price. Check the for sale forums. I remember seeing a set (although it was black chrome) a while ago for around that price.

Wheel Medic in Columbus could probably do it for close to $100/wheel.

 

Wheel Medic said that they cannot redip rims, they would need to send them out to cali. Were asking about $1,300/set

 

Don't know about re-dipping but I've talked to motomotion about re-finishing a set of wheels that I have and they quoted $400 per wheel.
