Hmm... first of all, James, I'm having a difficult time trying to determine whether your post was serious or if you're just being a wise @$$. Due to the length of your explanation and the lack of smilies, I am forced to conclude that it was serious.
Anyhow, I wasn't talking about the line. What I meant was the black/brown stuff on the bottom part of the block(?). Normally, they appear pretty clean, like this...
... so, I thought he might have a crush washer that needs replacing. However, considering the age of the vehicle, I suppose it could be just dirt or someshing. Just a little concerned ever since I read this thread.
