Default Cel p2138 help

My car has been acting kinda funny for a couple weeks now, Seems like when I'm slowly letting on the throttle in lower gears the car seems to hesitate and kind of buck. This morning I'm pulling out into traffic and give it some gas and the car goes into limp mode.. Cel and vsa lights come on..

Got the car scanned at autozone the only code that showed was 92138 "app sensor a/b voltage incorrect correlation. So I called Beaverton Honda thinking I could just buy a new sensor install it myself and move on... Turns out the parts guy was saying I have to buy a whole new throttle body assembly which is a $700+ part

any help would be appreciated not sure what to do now..

I recently had this problem and replaced my throttle body at forged. ( they had a spare, lucky me )

try calling them up and see if they have a spare.

Also, check your TPS, you're TPS have something to do with it too. Try cleaning out the throttle body.

if it doesn't help try testing another sensor with someone you know before buying a throttle body.

if oem is 700, i say go with after market. they are cheaper and function the same.

I had this and it irritate the hell out of me so I'm trying to help you best I can to my knowledge

Check to see if the app sensor is plugged in, its not part if your throttle body its near your abs modulator on the firewall, you can try to reset the code and drive it for a while .

I checked and everything and cleaned out the connections, everything looks fine but I didn't test with a multimeter. The car only has 22k miles on it so it doesn't make much sense for that sensor to be going out already.. but then again I've heard of worse things going out on newer cars before so I guess I should be lucky its only a sensor.
Anyways after I checked around for a bit I also reset my ecu and.... car runs MUCH better that before. Crossing my fingers it will just go away but at least now it gives me time to research the problem and figure it out 100%

thanks for the help
