Default Clutch replacement?

Ron Tokin Honda quoted me around $1550 for the clutch replacement with all oem parts.

Anyone know if there's any other dealers or reputable places to do it cheaper?

Thanks,

Sieu.

Paul Nix is a go-to guy for a lot of the people in the area. He's at Honda of Salem. You could try calling over there to see if it's any better?
Beyond that, I don't have any other info, but I'm sure some others will chime in.

You could try AR auto out in Lake Oswego, they do good work. http://www.arautoservice.com/

I expect it would be cheaper, but if you are set on OEM parts I don't know if it is going to be all that much cheaper. For some reason the OEM clutch kit for the S2000 is way expensive, and once you add labor on top of it...

Performance race engineering in Portland quoted me $1250 installed but with a competition clutch stage 2 along with a lighten flywheel with the same company. It was quoted last month. You could call them and see how much oem cost?

Thanks all, I'll be making some calls.

I'm dealing with a clutch buzz thats intermittent so nothing urgent. I currently have a stage 3 6 puck clutch in the car and the rattling/vibrations while going like 20mph in 2nd gear is insane lol. Seems like a heat shield but it calms down as I accelerate....

Many have found puck clutches are not a lasting solution for street use.

A quality Portland shop to check with is:

I second VIP ^

Wryann does good work. I've gone to him for fender rolling in the past and have gotten a few alignments from him. My buddy had the clutch on his RSX done there, too.

Buy my used OEM pressure plate, flywheel and disc (3000 miles on the parts - went aftermarket right after getting the car) and have Troy at McMinnville Honda do it. Not sure what the dealership would charge, but they do great work there.

PM me if you want to talk about the parts.
