I roll with a 110% of the speed limit guideline, rounded down for the ones ending in 5. 27 in a 25, 44 in a 40, 71 in a 65, 88 in an 80 (I-10 in west Texas).

That's an interesting one, first I've heard of, I normally drive 5-7 mph over the speed limit regardless of what is posted, with the exception of school zones.

I'm still scared for you Paul! Haha.

DOHC, also the rule of thumb is 5 MPH over the speed limit is the maximum, very good chance of getting pulled over if you are doing more. I know in Cali people tend to drive a minimal of 20-30 over the speed limit on the freeway. Our state patrol is pretty bad. Considering most of them are on motorcycles and can print tickets out, instead of writing it, so they generally don't have any remorse.
Haha. I've heard OR LEO's kinda hate us Cali folks...

I've been pulled over for no other reason than not having a front plate by the state police too. If you want to be safe, zip tie it.

Never had a problem. Been pulled over multiple times for speeding infractions and haven't once had one mention a front plate. Although did have one officer ask me if my car was loosing pieces because my fenders were pulled out
