No probs...how long do you guys average before having to re-tighten axle nuts?

Lol, well yes I figured that part out, more a question of how many miles roughly between hearing the sound of axle nuts clicking?

Had a shop do mine maybe two months ago, started clicking again, the person who 'tightened them' said he did to factory specs, not the tighter specs; also said he had to restake them but when I took the wheels off about two weeks later noticed that the stake position had not changed

Maybe it's time to invest in a torque wrench, protractor and big pipe...

Lol have dj mike tighten them, those suckers will never come loose or off for that matter again. Gonna have to tell you some stories of his "over eagerness" to tighten nuts and bolts sometime James. Haha.

In all honesty, I'd locate the TSB concerning the need to tighten that passed original OEM spec. I've seen this more being affected with earlier ap1's. But I don't have much experience with it

I dont think it's an issue of when. It's just something that needs to be done (for pre TSB cars).
Just retorque them to 220 (TSB spec) and be on your merry way.

Every time I hear a clicking sounds i just torqued it up to 300 lbft. but always buy a new axle nut and place a dab of a high temp grease on the back face of the nut then stake the nut. No more clicking sound. Hope this help but Dj mike can tighten it up to 400lbft. coz of his big biceps..haha
