Do the hardtops have VIN's?

I believe only the 2001 s2000's ordered with the hardtop received the vin tag taped to the back molding(pictured below with VIN of the car). The very same hardtop also had the VIN etched onto the glass by the dealer. For current owners of OEM Hardtop, your best bet(apart from hardtop locks and parking your car somewhere safe) is to have the glass etched with an identifying mark.
