This is the site I used, with shipping its the cheapest I found. The $99 one had more expensive shipping. Granted this is just for the 215/45, as I bought the v12's for my SI, not S.

also, I just checked that same site for the 245/40/17 and they have them on there for $115. There is an extra $30 saved in the rear tires.


So if anyone is lookin for some tires, show americas tire that site and should save an extra $70!

So just an update. I JUST paid for the V12's and I paid $519 out the door. Mounted, balanced, and everything. $519 - $80 for the mail in rebate and im sittin at $439 total. Not a bad deal, but I think people are getting better deals but im not sure how. Maybe homie hook ups to bring down the cost some how? lol.


As far as price match goes, they will "price match", but they will also include shipping to the price, so yeah, didnt work so well.

The $100 off this weekend is either $100 off OR the $80 mail in rebate. But they will take off an extra $20 and give you the %80 mail in to equal $100. Just FYI.

BEWARE though! Double check the prices they are charging you and add them up on your own! I added up what they were charging me and there was a mysterious $23 I was getting charged for that was no where to be found on the screen on the price list. Im not sayin there were tryin to get me for an extra %23, but im glad I caught it. They were also trying to charge me $10 for a disposal fee. I caught that too as these rims have no tires on them and I shouldnt be getting charged for that.

Keep in mind that the $100 off is a Discount Tire promo and the $80 rebate is a *Hankook* promo. They are not exclusive of eachother. If you ask them for a second copy of the receipt (Hankook's rebate specifically says *original receipt*), you should be able to send in the Hankook rebate separately and it should be valid. They tried to say that I could not do both originally too and I pointed out that the $100 was their deal but the $80 was not related to Discount Tire at all.

I got my local place to pull pricing from Discounttiredirect.com which had them at $99/tire (AP1 size) and free shipping when you buy 4.
My Mounted/Installed total was $470 before the rebates. $100 online rebate from Discount Tire (prior to the $100 deal this weekend) and $80 off from Hankook (Mail-in rebate) leaves me at 290 installed.

 

Thanks for the tip. They told me I can't do both but I see your point. I think they owe me some money!

I got mine for $440 install 1-years ago but I'm running 255/40/17 all around on the V12..All this after the rebate.but remember these are good tires for the price I DD my S! but I will be getting Star Specs z1 soon..
