Great pics...but the picture of the engine bay of the Aston raise a few questions.
Why does Aston go to the trouble of machining a gorgeous strut tower brace and then place it over an engine shrouded in plastic? Isn't what makes the engine bay of so many older cars the sense of titilation one gets by opening the hood and looking down on a naked engine? Remember how the first generation M3 had it's four cylinder motor exposed for all to see? Wasn't that a far more dramatic experience than peering down on a sea of plastic and composites?
I pity the loss of eroticism.
This is why I mourn the loss of cars like the S. What other affordable car had the confidence to hang it all out in the open like the S.
By the way, the yellow Rolls Royce boat tail roadster was the real deal! Fabulous!

I think it's because all the new engines are so cluttered with unattractive parts and pieces, that they want to cover it all up!!
I mean look at the LS-7, no fancy valve covers, bare ignition coils every where and of course there is no carburator to ogle...
