Who is providing the tuning btw?
No one touches my car but me.

All the welding, bending, bead rolling, machining, carbon fabrication, damper valving, corner balancing, engine tuning, etc is done in my shop. Not because I'm the best, but because I love doing it, I learn constantly, and I'm too cheap and picky to pay others.

That's more a philosophical statement than a judgement on skill level.

I can appreciate that. I Enjoy doing my own work as well. I would do more if I had a working shop. Somehow I find a way around my cumbersome work space, but its a buzz kill on the creativity.Wish I could execute more, and quicker. There is a real sense of pride and satisfaction in doing our own work, especially when its something unique that you have created. Not everyone is creative or knows how to execute it. Some people can sure throw allot of dollars around though and never know that real satisfaction of putting themselves into the project.

No, but I was thinking of the Volks after Ray's post.

I finally took the tires off the Volks on Friday - I still can't believe that wheel stayed on the car all the way to the pits. So lucky.
