Shows that three of you run without plates. Have you had any problems? If so what's the excuse and what's the outcome?

It's been brought up a bunch in Car Talk, too. One suggestion was "I'm waiting for the dealer to get the front license plate bracket; they had to order it from Japan."

I've been pulled over three times in this car that I've owned for less than two months. All three police dudes checked out the car all the way around. None of them noticed the front plates off. I got off on warnings each time. It's a risk, but I think it's worth it... until I get ticketed.
