I have already. Apparently the Maryland Heights police by my office didn't think that was a good idea. So i have a ticket right now for no front plate...

DAMN the front plates!
I haven't run with a front plate in IL ever. I've been pulled over for it numerous times but I always tell them I broke the bracket and it's on back order....works like a charm!
