They have the next generation coming out soon, it will include a few extra little things such as a camera, and I think they recently released a newer version which has 3g...correct me if im wrong
If you got money, no iphone and laptop then its for you, but the fact that they still dont have flash support kind of knocks it down a few points.

Yeah, 3G is already out. And I agree, the no-flash thing SUCKS but after reading Mr. Jobs' letter, it makes sense....still sucks, but I get it.
Im so tempted to order it. I could care less about a camera....Ive only used the camera on my phone like 5-10 times in the past 5-7 YRS.
Im not an insider of Apple, but I get my information from around, the camera - They already have a placement setting where they can mount the camera, and I believe they said they will install a 3.2 mp camera. I think they will also find some way to install a camera in the front as well for web chatting, but that im not aware of.
The current generation of Win7 laptops will resume from sleep and have full connectivity in less than 5 seconds. If that is your chief complaint, you can buy a laptop for less than the cost of an iPad... and it would offer everything beyond a limited browsing experience.
I'd much rather have a netbook over an ipad...ipad is neat and all but not that practical...if someones worried about the booting time...my MSI Wind boots up in like 9 seconds and ready to use, and thats with windows XP
