Typing this from the iPad. Fast touch screen browsing rules. Still a liitle iffy on typing but so far I love it.

Looks cool, fun to use, super portable, cheap 3G, excellent for reading newspapers...

Help increase the value of my AAPL shares and buy a few.

I was seriously considering a net book Before the iPad was announced.

Very glad I waited.

Nope. Haven't fired up the 3G yet. I was hoping to take it on a trip last week but it didn't arrive in time.

Will fire up the 3G on the next road trip and report back.

Can't wait for the iBoard!

Jerry - I'm telling you... It's freaking cool.

Different than the net book experience for sure. If there is a touch screen net book it might be comparable.

Anywhoo... The koolaid is tasty!

Richee - play with one for a bit. For my needs it's killer. I already have a work laptop + work supplied BlackBerry and a desktop iMac so this is the killer app for casual net use. Looking forward to having movies on the next long plane trip too.
