Put it to rest
Please excuse the following observations from an "outsider" (even though I've met many of you).
This was quite an intro by 337 (to this forum and to some of his clients and potential clients). Although it wasn't really hard to figure out right off the bat that he was somehow connected to Bellevue, he should have at least said so right from the beginning. As the thread progressed and 337 realized that his "allegiance" wasn't hard to determine, he tried to be more conciliatory. Nevertheless, the way he "blasted" onto the scene will still cast a dim light upon his dealership and I wonder if his boss realizes what he has done.
The folks around the Seattle area is a close knit community as far as car enthusiasts go. I'm assuming that word of this thread is a topic of discussion at "Taco Tuesdays". (I'm just wondering if the word ["I'll leave this to your imagination"] has come up yet? The word may not readily be associated with 337 but I'll bet it has been associated with "that guy from Bellevue Honda".) If I were the dealer principle, I certainly would not be happy to know that a "less than stellar" reputation may have just gotten worse because of the actions of one of my employees.
(Do a search on 337's other posts to get a "flavour" for his character. I'll also leave this up to you guys to judge what that flavour might be.)
