Default Camera Armor...

Just placed my order for the 1Ds, and realized, that when the time comes to possibly sell it, mint condition fetches higher dollars. So, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with any kind of camera protection?

I like the silicone crap that I have on my iphone, works well, and doesn't add to the dimensions, while keeping controls untouched. Some seem bulky, some, I don't know. Just wanted to hear if anyone has any opinions on the subject.

I would think that the coatings on the 1ds are quite tough as is. Most likely if you are going to do something hard enough to damage the outside of the camera, you will also rattle around the insides.

The 1DS is pretty rugged, personally I tried armor but did'nt like it on mine. It got re-sold. I like the feel of the camera Im old school.
