Default I was bored tonight....

I will have MUCH better photos when my 150mm macro comes in, as a lot of the shots I wanted (creatively) I couldn't pull off with any of my lenses. These two came out decent. I'm just tinkering right now, trying to master the camera controls themselves. I more or less have it down, just want to be surgical with it, so I can concentrate 100% on the creative aspect, and have the camera stuff be second nature.

Let me know what you think...

This one isn't light painting...Its a daytime pic photoshopped for the light painting effect.

I like the book. How did you use the flashlight? Do you just hold the flashlight on for a certain amount of time......what is the technique you used on the book?

I held the flashlight, with the bulb/lens in the palm of my hand. Then, I opened/closed my fingers/grip to paint with a minor amount of light. A heavy amount of light will turn hot very quickly on a photo.

The book took a while to get the look I was going for (darker flipping pages)...would have been a lot nicer with a macro lens. The book I used a tiny amount of light, because the white pages reflected the light, and blew out quickly.

You know what, Instead of trying to explain all this...Im just gonna take some how to photos.

Actually...looking at it again, I can see the M thing. I think I either wont use that font (I do like it though) or put a period after the N and the F.
