Default Some gulls from Seashore State Park

Sorry they're all seagulls, but those are the only birds around this time of year

I was using a Canon 20D with a 400mm f5.6L and a 1DMKII with a 70-200mm f2.8L IS. Most of the birds in flight were caught with the 1D and most of the tighter ground shots are with the 20D.

This was my first time shooting with the 400mm and I definitely need more practice. Everything I shot was handheld.

Thanks for the compliments so far

For the photos.
For not giving them an alka-seltzer pill and taking a picture.

I was already dodging their crap - a gut bomb would have been unavoidable
