Well, I put the grill in. It seems to hold by friction and pressure fit alone, however, I may just run a small wire on all those nipples just in case.

yeah with it off it looks simple... that's exactly all there is to it.

Once you get it on the car it wont go anywhere

I'm just worried with vibration and if I hit a rock or big bug or small bird, it might push the thing back.

Just did the conversion and here's what I found when I took off the old bumper:

I transferred these little metal clips onto those little nipples. It's these things that hold the grill firmly in place.

You can't see them from the outside looking in and they are virtually flat, so they are very hard to feel unless you know they are there. Honda is so tricky.
