Condensation In Headlight
I did some hunting on how to get at the headlight to cure my condensation issue I've been getting as of late and noticed its more common that I expected. My drivers side headlight is not firing up anymore and I just wanted to get at it to diagnose the problem.
My question is: Which is the easiest way to get at it? would it be through the fender liner (removing wheel) or would it be quicker to remove the front bumper and remove the entire headlight off the car to work on it?
I am guessing there is too much moisture and the ballast is either not turning on to protect itself (short?) or its already fried. I tried checking the fuse but I guess luck is not on my side and its not going to be that easy
Anyone ever do this?
One final question, anyone know how much a dealer would charge? I want to do it myself but because I just moved into a new house I don't have a driveway to get into my garage where I like to work. Honest! I'm not lazy!

I wouldn't say it's a "common" problem but it has been reported multiple times. If you have moisture inside the headlight, the seal is bad and you'd have to take the headlight out and dry it somehow and re-seal it. Best way is to take off the bumper:

As for the ballast, you won't know till you do some swapping from side to side and see what's going on. You'll need the bumper off for this too.
