have a friend drive behind you as you're driving down the street....he/she will be able to see if the rear is in alignment....and how the car sits (relative left to right).

I think the alignment is every bit as good as it was before (and I know that sounds crazy, given the nature of the accident). That being said, I'm still planning to have an alignment done, as I feel the steering wheel is a bit off centre when driving straight (and the car does drive straight on a flat road without holding the wheel).
The strut was replaced, as was the spring (I believe, might have to check the invoice).
The good news is that my insurance ISN'T going up. Pretty relieved on that one. But, I don't get to take part in that huge insurance reform for October 1st for anyone under 25. Oh well!
