Secret Street tonight (Oct. 1)
Hi all,
If you have any interest in autocross and want to try it out, tonight is your last chance at the oval at Race City. No official results etc. just take as many runs as you want ($40 total...minor tech inspection - no loose items, battery fastened, thread on tires, no leaks, wheel bearings tight/no looseness, they have helmets to rent etc.). You need nothing special to run. People have taken >20 runs in the past - good bang for the buck!
Furthermore, I run the program and can help with some driving tips and such if you like.
You might want to pump your tires to 37 psi front and 33 psi or so for the rear (for stock tires as noted elsewhere on this forum).....perhaps a bit more both ends???
More info at www.racecity.com
272-7223
I will be there to set up at about 6:30 pm and probably running within an hour.
Mike2k is coming out so I thought maybe someone else would be interested to try it out. Kind of a standard course but also has some speed to it...relatively straight-forward course design but still challenging.

I wish I didn't have to work, I would have made the trip down for this for sure.
I'd really like convince our group of owners to attend some of these events starting next spring... a lot of brainstorming to be done over the winter for sure.
