Default A Worthy Cause...

Hi guys,

Mel and I just got back from Vegas and arrived to some devastating news. One of our close friends just found out she has breast cancer. She is only 33 years old and she discovered the tumor because she was having trouble breast feeding her newborn.

At a time like this we can't help but feel helpless... Words don't seem to be enough. Melody has decided that she will be participating in this year's walk/run for breast cancer to help raise some money for research. I know there are a lot of worthwhile causes out there, but this one hits close to home. Please consider making a donation...

You can make a donation using your credit card directly by clicking on the link below. This sends the money directly to the Cancer Society and eliminates the need for paypal. A tax receipt is issued almost immediately through email.

I know only a few of you Prairie types have met us, so if you need to have someone attest to my character (make sure that this is not a scam) you can check with Xviper - he knows us pretty well.

Donate to Melody's Run for the Cure

Thanks for taking the time to read and consider the request...

Sean and Melody

Thanks Dylan! Mel's goal is to raise $888 (lucky number for Chinese)... Your contribution gets us off to a good start.

Thanks!

Just did my part to support the cause.

This is close to home for me because my mother is battling breast CA
at the moment.

(I lost my dad last May due to prostate CA)

Good luck to you and Mel as well as your close friend,
and more power to you for promoting this cause.

Please know that our thoughts are with your mother. Many people have been affected by this disease, more than I had realized before starting this fundraising project. Thanks for your support!
