Mel and I just got back from Vegas and arrived to some devastating news. One of our close friends just found out she has breast cancer. She is only 33 years old and she discovered the tumor because she was having trouble breast feeding her newborn.

At a time like this we can't help but feel helpless... Words don't seem to be enough. Melody has decided that she will be participating in this year's walk/run for breast cancer to help raise some money for research. I know there are a lot of worthwhile causes out there, but this one hits close to home. Please consider making a donation...

Thanks for your generosity! We just posted this today, and already the S2000 community has come through. The cause is a great one, as it is a fight for our mothers, sisters, wives, and daughters.

Thanks for the support. We spoke to her today and she could not believe how much we have raised. She is lucky that she was pregnant, as it allowed the doctors to discover the tumor early. Breast cancer in younger women can be quite aggressive, but we are hoping that the early discovery will lead to a good prognosis. All of your support is appreciated.
