This is crazy, my body shop would do an exterior job on a s2000 for 1k AT THE MOST, we use very nice MIPA paint and is always oem quality. I dont know where you guys are getting your quotes at but there pathetic... It's a car the size of a del sol lol i would guess 12hrs labor max for an exterior refinish.

MIPA is a line off of sherwin williams it is extremely nice paint, You just have to shop around for a quality shop that is hurting in this economy, simple as that.
