Default Frame around winshield

Was going to buy an S that has been wrecked and fixed. It looks really good but was worried when I saw the gap on the passenger side between the top and the windshield. Also took pics of the right column.

It needs a new windshield as well. You can see in one of the pics where the rearview came off and part of the windshield went wig it.

Can this be fixed (I'm thinking frame has been damaged a little bit) ? If so what am I looking at?

maybe the top itself is a little bent . my friend bought a 2001 ap1 with the same problem . The top is made with multiple sections , that can be replaced or '' fixed ''

or

the windshield frame is bent

difficult to see by the pictures

Ok...let's say that the windshield frame is bent. Is that fixable and if so what am I possibly getting into?

Jon, I've been hunting all over for the diagram of that windshield frame. The money you would spend to replace/repair it would not be worth the savings on the car. That frame goes all the way to the floor of the car. It would have to be something that you could either live with.

The windshield frame is a rollbar on this car. It is a structural member of the car. I agree with madcowdk.
