Default H emblem on trunk

Anybody know of a good way to tighten up the H emblem on the trunk?

I thought it was held on with double stick tape on the trunk.

From what I have read they are pressure fitted and the legs fit into plastic inserts. Mine has been loose for a few years and I’m hesitant to mess with it as I may end up breaking it but was wondering if anyone has had any luck/figured out a way to tighten it.

Ah, it could be, similar to the one on the front. May just have to buy another rear emblem as I don't think the parts are available separately. If the plastic pieces will slide off, maybe wrapping a bit of teflon tape on them could work.

Yeah I’ll have to see if I can work something in there.

My rear emblem recently also became “loose”. It is affixed from two plastic plugs that go into the two holes on the trunk (see behind emblem on inside of trunk) and by sticky tape on the edges of the emblem. When the sticky part wears off the emblem becomes loose. Easiest to just buy a new emblem and replace.

But then it’s not all original body parts anymore
