Default HELP Emblem removal

Ok so I purchased new S2000 emblems to replace the old ones that were installed crooked and it's really irritating me. Problem is the car was painted before I acquired it (which is why they are installed crooked) and the emblems were superglued on. I started to peel them off and 2 zeros came off but took some paint chips with it. At this point I stopped trying to remove them. I have read that acetone can help remove them but I'm unsure what that's going to do to the paint. Any suggestions as to what I should do.

If indeed super glue was used you can use superglue debonder. Go to a model airplane (big one) hobby store and buy a bottle. Its green and the small ones cost about $4. Put it on and let it soak. Won't hurt the paint.
