There should have been 8 metal clamps (4 on top and 4 on the bottom) holding your old grill to your old bumper. I took those off and used them on the new bumper.. you should be good to go after you put those on.

is the ap2 bumper longer in height as in top to bottom than the ap1...or is it the same size?

The same size IIRC, as the splashguard sits level on the underside with both bumpers

lol do u think i should let the paintshop put on my bumper for me and paint it or do u think i should put it on myself then bring it in for painting?
