Default made a mess while removing the H badge

Hi all,

I attempted to remove the front H badge and thought I was gonna be a easy tast, but it didn't turn out to be.

I took off the badge without knowing I should heat it up first, so the the sticky tape on the sides of the H didn't come off completely, and It has a terrible "H" shaped markings on the front bumper.

Is there a way to get rid of the sticky stuff and remove those markings?

Thanks for the help.

3M sells a product called "Specialty Adhesive Remover". It has worked very well for me when trying to remover vinyl sticker and badge residue. Works remarkably better than Goo Gone. Give it a try.

You need an adhesive remover to remove the sticky residue.

I would then follow it up with a wash, clay, and then a polish to remove the 'H' hologram in the paint.

I was told there were holes behind both the front and rear H emblems, at least on my AP2. Is that not the case?
