Default Help me Remove Rick's S Badge?

I have a black/silver Rick's badge on my front bumper, I bought the Silver/Red Rick's Badge to replace it with, but this sucker is on good. The entire edge all the way around is glued tightly, I can't get dental floss anywhere under the badge. I sprayed some 3M adhesive remover on it, let it soak, took a blower dry to it, the lot. It's STUCK. I got so fed up I took a razor blade after it and nicked the paint. Getting really frustrated now. One a side note, I don't think my blow dryer got warm enough. Possibly try that again tomorrow.

Any tips?

they are a pia to remove...
main tip is to mask (with masking tape) the old badges, otherwise you will never get the new ones on straight. i know, not what you asked about, but its a very important tip.

as to the badges, they are difficult to remove and its a very slow process. you can spend an entire afternoon removing and reinstalling to get them right. the secret is to use dental floss, and lots and lots of it. i usually use around 3 strngs at a time. go slow and soak an area well with your product. the 3m is a good one.

as you found out, do not use anything hard at all. not worth scratching the paint. once you get the floss under the badge, you just saw it back and forth over and over and over and over.

i just did my harley tank badges and took about half a day to get them and the gunk all off and the new ones on.

After the razor blade nick, I'll try more heat and floss tomorrow.

Thanks for the tips.
