Default Mugen hardtop

So I bought an authentic, FRP mugen ht from my buddy who was the original owner. He installed it onto my car without doing any adjustments to it because the windows sealed fine. When I go above 80mph there is a mad howl from the center-top portion of the ht where it meets the windshield. I can also hear a significant amount of wind noise outside of my driver's side window- almost as if the ht isn't aligned longitudinally correct. On top of all this the ht creeks like crajie everywhere over every road imperfection. Is this normal for a ht- mugen in specific, or do I need to adjust it? I didn't put it on myself and have never taken it off so I have no idea how to adjust it. He gave me some washers(Mugen. lol) that came with the ht for adjustment. How do I adjust my hardtop? Any and all help is appreciated! TIA

there is a DIY thread on Mugen HT install, yeah you'll need to adjust it.

here you go
it's pretty common for hardtops to creak and make a lot of noise without adjustment. you will spend most of your time doing that. i've adjusted mine 3 times already and it still creaks and some wind noise, but it's not as bad as it was before so i left it. taking the hardtop off today though
