Thumbs up Powder Coating Calipers! question?

I want to powder coat my calipers, i have the equip/oven/etc. I am wondering if i need to disassemble the entire caliper (remove pistons/seals/boot/etc) or if i can just mask over the parts i dont want powder in and do it that way? one of my friends wants me to do it on his accord, (hehe test car!)

i plan do disassemble mine and replace the seals/boot while i am at it change my brake fluid as well. Just wondered if he needs to buy the seals for his or if we can do em with masking (i have the high temp tape).

powder lasts a hell of a lot longer, and the powder i use is practically indestructible (hammer wont chip it). plus companies like brembo do it, to great effect.... so back to original question...

yeah everything needs to come off, pistons will get damaged in the oven along with everything else it needs to be just the bare caliper and it'll be the best finish! .
