I'm going to be putting about 700 highway miles on the S tomorrow. Is painters tape safe? I see people do it, but that doesn't make it right. So just to verify will I be ok if I tape. I just freshly waxed the car today so maybe the rocks will just slide right by. Ha. But seriously I just don't want to mess up the paint is all. Thanks for the info ahead of time.

Tape it up. Made a trip from South Carolina to California for homecoming last year. Waxing beforehand does help.
