Default Shine Spec-A front lip

Does anyone have experience with the quality/craftsmanship of this particular product? I'm looking at installing this replica lip onto an authentic ASM bumper. I scrape often, going in and out of driveways. I'd prefer not to destroy an authentic and expensive lip. Any input on fitment and durability is much appreciated.

I have the reverse, a Shine bumper and ASM lip and they fit together well for me.

Nice car. That's good news. That means I shouldn't have a problem vis versa. Does your lip reuse oem hardware?

Shine lip is slightly different then the authentic. Shine has attachment points on the forward face in addition to the bottom mounting point so it can be bolted to the face of the bumper. I'm not sure if it was done to better secure the lip as it may possibly be more flimsy. .02

I was wondering how the lip stays on. The place where the screws go, on the underside, is visible. Does that mean the lip just hangs on from the top, maybe using double-sided tape?

I'm running this exact setup - the fitment is slightly off but pretty close. The previous owner drilled holes in the bumper to mount the lip - you might be able to get away with double sided tape but idk. As far a durability, it seems fine, though the previous owner also cracked the bottom of the lip pretty nicely. Hope this is of some help.

Nice car. Thanks for the photos. It appears there is enough shelf on the bumper, for the lip to sit on. I'm going to try using double-sided tape since I don't want to modify the bumper.

Where did you get the license plate bracket? I just ordered this same tow hook (Challenge via SOS). I don't carry a spare so I rely on AAA for towing.

Thanks - happy to help!

I purchased my bumper used and the license plate bracket came with it. I'm assuming most generic tilting license plate brackets should work fine though.

My tow hook is the Rockstar garage one - but I believe it's nearly identical to the Challenge one. It worked great when my supercharger belt decided to self-destruct and the car needed to be pulled onto a flatbed!
