Default Top folding correctly?

Trying to see if I can get some input from another person with the Robbins glass retrofit top. A few weeks after the installation of the top, I noticed that the elastic straps were causing the top to fold correctly, similar to what it looks like when they wear out. (just bought the Modifry strap fix). I have been reaching behind me and pushing the bar back by hand as I lower the top so it folds correctly, and it appears to, sitting down low in the tray. What I have noticed though, is that the glass window seems to be pushing on the rear of the tray, pulling the front backwards and forming a lip with the plastic that should be recessed into the back of the secret compartment plastic, which the material along the top of the window connects with and looks like it is starting to rub on. Has anyone else had a similar situation? Short of removing the tray, what has been done to avoid wear on the top material? Thanks in advance.

What year S?? If its an early AP1 with the plastic window, did you try removing the 2 "button" clips for the Tauneau cover. There are 4 across the rear of the roll loop area on MY00 & MY01

Definitely did. I have a MY01. I removed all 4 buttons for the cover it seems to be hitting the bed tray itself. Will post pics.

This happens quite a bit . The reason behind it is that they actually mount the glass window in a bit different than OEM and therefore it lays down differently. There is really nothing that can be done to fix it from what I have seen. Just dont push down on it or you wont have a window anymore.

Figured, kinda sucks. So i should just reinforce the top lip of the window as I would the common rub spots from the frame, make sure I don't force the top down and break the glass and call it a day, eh?

Thanks for the replies.
