Default To adjust front camber whats best, SPC balljoints, or adjustable arms like godspeed

I've got a 17x8.5 +35 i want to fit up front with minimal tyre stretch and a decent sidewall (similar to std) if i can help it. The font arches look like they'll never pull out as far as i need. I had an idea to use the std adjusters on the lower arms to pull the bottom of the hub in. Then use an adjustable top arm/balljoint to pull the top of the hub in and bring it back to acceptable levels of negative camber.

I know I could just dial in loads of negative camber and be done with it, but the car is used every day on UK roads, so I'd rather keep it around 1-1.5deg negative.

So SPC balljoints seem to be commonly used, but the chance of human error from fitting them a bit wonky concerns me.. has there been any experience with godspeed top arms? Whilst they are the same price as the spc's, the balljoints they use could be rubbish, which would make them worthless.. I found the another brand of top arms, they were about £500 which for my purposes of what is essentially an experiment seems a bit expensive for now.

Opinions/thoughts/advice/experience

Regards, Dan

I have the spc's and they are fine. But I did have one slip on me and had to retorque it. Annoying.

Thanks! I was going to come in here and post these. We do not recommend using the delrin bushings in below freezing temps.

Thanks,

Austin

Mmm.. it does get cold in the uk.. good idea though.. is it because theres risk of the bush splitting on the thinner side?

If you look at our install instructions, we say to freeze the bushings to contract them before installing into the control arms. This contraction allows for the bushings to be installed. When the warm back up to ambient temps, they expand, effectively making them press it into the upper a-arms.

In cold temperatures, there is potential for them to contract again and slip in their mounting.
