alignment/camber issue
Hi guys,
I just got my 06 AP2 a couple weeks ago. It is fully stock, stock ride height. When I took it to Firestone to mount new tires and have it aligned last week (unlimited alignments), they were able to get everything within stock alignment specs- except the right rear camber, which they couldn't get below -2.2 (the oem rear camber range is -1.3 to -1.7) even when they turned the cam bolt all the way around. The tech thinks one of the control arms is slightly but bent, but too little to tell by inspection on the car. He says my options are either get an adjustable ball joint on that corner, or take apart the whole corner and figure out what is bent, and replace it ($$$).
So my my main question is, what would you guys recommend I do about this?
-If I fix it, do I trust the tech to properly diagnose a part bent by possibly only a few mm?
-I understand -2.2 isn't that far off from OEM spec, and in fact might even be preferable depending on how agressive I want to be. Should I have them just take the left rear to -2.2 and call it a day?
-Is the tech just improperly diagnosing the issue? Would a bent control arm or knuckle be visible by inspection on a lift?
Any help s2ki's collective knowledge could give me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

If its a minor warping of the LCA, i could be next to impossible to detect it by eye alone. The S2000 is a bit of a pain to align, the moment you move one setting it throws all the rest out of whack. It could take unto 2 hours to do a 4 wheel alignment on our cars, and most techs absolutely hate working on them for this reason.
If it is indeed warped the only way to fix it would be to replace the entire lower control arm with a new one. A dead giveaway that the car may have made contact with a curb is if there is damage on the left rear wheel.
Let us know what happens!
