Default Axle spacer question

Now i know the spacers help maintain the oem placement of the axles once someone has lowered their S. My question is, are spacers needed if your lowered and have brand new dss axles? Since theres no wear already in the knuckle of the half shaft. Is a spacer really needed if your lowered on the new axles? Was just wondering

the axles spacers arent needed. they only served to move the joint out of the wear spot that it creates in the axle bucket. Not trying to be negative but anything BUT OEM axles will probably fail really quickly/give you vibration.
