I got this vibration on my car (02 ap1) when I accelerate I don't know what it is anymore! It's really making me sad. My car is lowered on buddyclub n+ which I have installed axle spacers to stop the vibration then It came back about half a year after lowering it.

Things I have installed/replaced
Axle spacers
New Axles
Propeller shaft
New outer tie rod ends



Any ideas/input will be appreciated.

 

hmmmm hard to say youve done all the obvious stuff, bent driveshaf of bad diff?

 

Spacers are crap.

Are the replacement axles Honda or aftermarket?

 

spacers mask the problem for a short time, then it returns.

ALXE BUCKET SWAP is the cure. Repalcement axles that are not honda dont run at the precision that the oem axles do.

 

So the problem points back to my axles? I replaced the OEM ones cuz they were bad then I ordered a pair from NAPA auto parts.

 

Thats your problem.

Pull the buckets off the stock axles and check them for pits. if so, swap the buckets side to side and put them back in.

LEAVE THE SPACERS out.

 

I've heard of axles pitting but what is it really? I'm not sure what pitting means exactly.

Do you have another set of wheels? I had similar problem. Changing rear tires fixed problem.

 

I have a set of OEM axles I can fix. if not then ill change the wheels see if it makes a difference. thanks
